Bring the piece to the workshop. We hold moulding samples against its corner, and the difference shows at once.
Watercolour and pastel go behind glass, with a mat keeping the surface off it. Oil on canvas is framed without glass.
All materials are acid-free: the paper will not yellow or spot in a few years.
